How do I read token stats?

Check five things in this order: liquidity, holder concentration, age, volume against liquidity, and market cap. Liquidity comes first because it decides whether you can exit at all, and holder concentration second because a single wallet holding a large share of supply can end the token regardless of everything else.

The order, and what each answers

  1. Liquidity. Can I get out? Compare your intended size to the pool. Around 1 percent is a tolerable fill; 10 percent means you are the price.
  2. Holder concentration. Who can end this? A top holder with tens of percent of supply is a standing risk that no chart shows.
  3. Age. Has it survived anything? Minutes old is a different asset class from a week old.
  4. Volume against liquidity. Is anyone actually here? High volume on a thin pool is churn, not depth.
  5. Market cap. What is left of the upside? Read it only after liquidity, never instead of it.

Two checks worth adding

  • Mint and freeze authority. If either is still active, supply can change or your balance can be frozen.
  • Deployer history. Serial launchers repeat, and the repeat looks exactly like the original.
