Using FOMOSCAN
What is Quick Buy?
Quick Buy is a single-click market buy of a preset SOL amount into the token on a feed card, routed through Jupiter and signed by your own wallet. It exists because latency is the largest cost in a copied entry: every step between seeing a trade and filling it is price you give away.
What happens when you click
- A quote is fetched from Jupiter, which splits the swap across whichever Solana pools give the best net price.
- Your wallet signs the transaction in your browser.
- It is submitted to the network with a priority fee, and the tokens land in your account.
Choosing the amount
Pick a number that would be boring to lose in full, and leave it there. The purpose of a preset is to remove a decision at the exact moment you are least able to make it well. Changing it after a winning trade defeats the entire point of having one.
Why a buy can fail
- The price moved beyond your slippage tolerance while the transaction was in flight. The trade refusing a bad price is the system working.
- No route. On a token minutes old there may be a single shallow pool and no fill worth taking.
- Congestion. A default priority fee can arrive late in exactly the moments that mattered.
- The token is not on Solana. Cards from other chains show, but cannot be bought here.
